Our expertise extends in particular to machine tools for machining aluminium wheels for cars and trucks.
Since our foundation in 1974, we have managed the company in family hands, which enables us to ensure continuous, customer-oriented support. In addition to trading in machine tools and spare parts, we successfully established our own RDM 4 vertical lathe in the European market in 2015.
In 2018, we started to offer the RDM 4 as a fully automatic production line for wheel machining. Dugar + Schuster stands for cooperation in partnership right from the start. If you decide on a lathe from Dugar + Schuster, we will accompany your project until commissioning and train your machine operators.
In addition to the sale of new machines, another focus is on the overhaul of older machines, and we guarantee a speedy processing of your spare parts orders.
History and progress
Dugar and Schuster since 1974
The history of Dugar + Schuster goes back to its foundation in 1974, and to this day we are proud to be a 100% owner-managed company. Managing Director Frank Schuster shares this passion for machine tools with his father, company founder Horst Schuster. Together they bring more than four decades of experience in the sale and service of machine tools and have developed into proven experts in this field during this time. We have specialised in particular in machine tools for aluminium wheel machining.
A decisive milestone in our company history was the development of the RDM 4 vertical lathe in 2015. This ground-breaking model has since become a permanent fixture with renowned wheel manufacturers both nationally and internationally and has proven its worth.
When we considered the integration of Industry 4.0 in 2018, we expanded our range to include fully automated robot cells for rim machining. This enables us to offer state-of-the-art solutions that take into account the requirements of Industry 4.0 and at the same time meet the high demands of our customers.

Germany & Turkey
Our headquarters are located in Langenfeld (Rhineland), strategically positioned between the major metropolises of Düsseldorf and Cologne. Thanks to our optimal connection to the transport network in the Rhineland/Ruhr area, your order will be promptly sent on its way.
With a generous area of approximately 2,000 square metres, we house our spare parts warehouse with shipping department as well as our production facility. The close proximity to the administration with management and sales ensures short and flexible communication channels.
In addition, we have a location in Turkey where we offer sales and service for ODAK CNC.
